On Friday we had kapa Haka and we meet as a group every Friday in the hall to practice our performances and songs and actions. We started of by taking off our shoes and putting them in the hall and then going and sitting down in our performance lines in the hall quietly but some of the younger kids were quite loud. after that we started singing our main song which is called Ka Waiata and that sounded really great! Next we practiced new actions to a new song and focused on learning the actions and doing them without Matuas help it was quite hard as I keep getting muddled up but I persevered. I showed respect by persevering and trying to do the actions . I showed leadership by being quiet and role modeling it to others.
