library can does

On Friday did my duty of librarian with zainab. Even though we did tabloid sports and it was confusing because the times were different than usual. So there were ten minutes left so i stamped Oaklands school in to books but I had to stamp it in to the front, middle and back. I also put away books and issued books.  I show respect by talking to the students nicely by not yelling at them

Term 1 Integrated Learning - Leadership

We have been learning all about What makes a good leader. Here is a link to the Leadership modelling book. We identified that good leaders show 6 main character traits. These are……. Resilient Integrity Goal Focused Active Thinker Trustworthy Motivational The leadership trait that I think I show the most is resilient because I just keep trying like in maths on IXL I got one wrong at 99 but I kept trying. The leadership trait I would most like to develop is to be better at being an Active thinker because I don't always think about what I do or develop my ideas further. Something NEW I have learned about leadership is that it's a skill of being able to motivate people/ teams to work towards a goal. The SOLO level that I reached during this unit of learning is relational because I can compare and contrast the traits of different leaders. My next step in learning about leadership is to apply everything that I have learned about leadership to my own leade

maths

The meanings of mean, median, mode and range  The mean is like the average The mode is the one that is there the most The median  is the middle number when in order of size The range is the biggest number  minus the smallest number
this is my evidenc e we were learning to   gather, evaluate, and synthesise information across a small range of texts

library

Today I did my duty of library. It was really busy I thought it was really good to have some busy days. While on duty I put the books away in alphabetical order and order of popularity. Then when the library got quite empty i got a book out for myself and some other students . I was showing resilience by put as many books away as i could in the time frame .

I can read and interpret a range of graphs

I can read and interpret a range of graphs For maths I have been learning to read and interpret a range of graphs. This relates to the National Standards as it meets the criteria of: I can compare distributions visually (Year ⅞ Standard)  Here is link to my Statistical Literacy spreadsheet which shows all of the graphs and tables I can read and interpret. I have also compared and contrasted some of the graphs. Below are the links to them Example 1 Example 2 My next step is to use these in my leadership investigation next term.
